I started selling real estate in San Antonio when I was nineteen. I was a top producer for years before I decided that my daughter needed more of my time. I knew I loved the real estate business so I decided to try lending.


I became a processor and learned the business from the ground up before becoming a loan officer in 1998. I started my first branch in October 2008 just as the mortgage crisis hit and thought I had made the biggest mistake of my life, but with a lot of hard work and support, we stuck with it and have grown the branch to what it is today.


I live by the motto, "Excellence means caring more than others think is wise, risking more than others think is safe and expecting more than others think is possible."


This business is not about loans, files, or borrowers. It's about people; people looking for the one thing we all want - a home. As an industry, it's critical that we do not lose sight of that.
