As a founding partner of Certainty Home Lending's San Luis Obispo branch, Ben Lerner leads the most experienced and trusted lending office in the community. While Ben has remained a top-producing loan officer for more than 20 years, his singular dedication to each client stands as a hallmark of his reputation. Ben moved to San Luis Obispo to attend Cal Poly. While obtaining a B.S. in Human Development and Psychology, Ben competed in cycling, representing the college at the highest level. Ben's love of learning, sport, and competition are still the building blocks of his business success. After working in the sporting goods industry for Trek Bicycles and Nike, Ben transitioned to lending fueled by his desire to work with people directly in obtaining their dreams. His acumen in understanding the structure of lending and the ability to build relationships quickly propelled him to the top of the industry producers. Accountability, insight, and integrity are the benchmarks of Ben's business. Ben has been married for more than 27 years to Susana. Their two children, Issac (22) and Eden (19), both attend University. Ben's roots in the community continue to grow. He is a proud sponsor of the Noor Foundation, the free healthcare clinic for San Luis Obispo County. The family also supports several other education initiatives in the community including Operation School Bell, through the Assistance League of SLO County, and Chabad San Luis Obispo. Ben measures his success by what he can give back.
